Learn how to install a Metcraft chase mounted lavatory.

Installation Instructions

Locate rough-in position on wall. If a Metcraft security frame is to be incorporated, check to make sure frame is square and has not been damaged in shipment. If the frame is out of square, mounting holes will not match fixture anchor locations.

  1. If using a security frame, cast or block the frame in place using conventional construction methods. The frame includes ā€œVā€ notches on the front and back faces, which are used to locate and center the frame within the wall and to establish the basin rim height. Refer to the fixture installation guide for additional details.
  2. If core drilling or using steel plate walls, refer to the submittal drawing for all required holes and wall openings.Rough-in all plumbing connections required by fixture.
  3. Attach anchor rods to fixture.
  4. Attach all backsplash trim including push buttons and bubbler.
  5. Unit is now ready for final positioning.
